The NZCA was founded in 2015, with a mission to “protect our canyons, raise the awareness of our canyoners and grow the sport of canyoning in NZ safely”

Joining allows you to participate in NZCA events (such as the canyoning festival), apply for grants from the Canyon Fund.

Being a member also helps show the government how many people they represent when they lobby to protect the canyons and access to them.
